PLATFORM INITIATIVE OFFICIALLY INCLUDED TO KYRGYZ GOVERNMENT PROGRAMME

The Goverment of the Kyrgyz Republic decided to include the initiative “Introduction to Law for Pupils of Kyrgyz Schools” to its Interministerial action plan.

The Interministerial action plan “on prevention of suicides, offences and crimes committed by children and youth in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2016-2018” was approved on 22 March 2016, by Order of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic. Activity N°31 of the Interministerial action plan is the above-mentioned EU-Central Asia Rule of Law Platform initiative. This was reported by AKIpress on 6 April 2016.

This activity has been entrusted to the Ministry of Education and Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic. Members of the Bar of the Kyrgyz Republic will conduct awareness-raising sessions for pupils of the 5th-11th classes throughout the country.

The control of the implementation of the 6 March Government Order has been entrusted to the Department of Social Development under the Office of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
